This past week in #Sonoita real estate.
There were only 5 parcels that had any activity this past week and 4 of those were in #Patagonia. Four lots were listed and they had all previously been on the market. The remaining property was a home in Elgin on 9 acres that had also recently been on the market. Priced at $300,000, it is worth a look.
Remember to always check my website, www.SonoitaProperties.com, for the latest prices and activity in our market
According to a recent article in Bloomberg BusinessWeek, the USGS says we have 185,000 years, yes that’s right, years, of copper reserves. So, tell me why the NFS needs to approve the EIS for Rosemont Mine?
Yesterday a rainbow. Today a snow covered Mt Wrightson. %sonoita
At the ballpark for Barcamp. New experience and a great opportunity to not only become more tech savvy, but to network with friends old and new.
Our local electric utility considers this to be visually non-obtrusive to the verdant grassland where we live. I think it’s saying something else!
Do you believe in miracles? I do now. A year ago our local electric coop won a case before the ACC that allowed them to build a new high voltage distribution line into our community on the pretense this was needed to improve our service. And this request was made in spite of a consultant’s report commissioned by the company that concluded we did not need additional power for twenty some years. Up until the decision, we had been experiencing power surges, brown-outs and power outages on a fairly regular basis, good weather or bad. No sooner had the decision come down, then the galvanized cacti went up to be followed by the stringing of high tension lines. The new sign of progress extended across the historic Babocomari ranch from Huachuca City to Highway 83 in Elgin. And our lights have hardly had a flicker since this was completed! A miracle, yes, but the real miracle is this is happening without a single new volt going over those new lines and into the local distribution system. Why do you think this is? I have my ideas. What are yours?
Guess where I am?
Great week with lot’s of interest in my major listing, new opportunities and an offer submitted. I will also have a really special lot listed overlooking Parker Canyon Lake next week.
Good day in the Mountain Empire showing clients houses. Let’s consider this a harbinger of a better real estate market.
